   See the official requirements

3. Choose an Exchange activity

Sample activity: Build a Trail Kit · 20 minutes

Make the packing part hands-on. Every Scout gathers a kit for the walk.

Supplies & how to run it

Supplies: Day bags; water, first-aid kit, flashlight, trail food, sun protection and whistle for each Scout; suitable clothes and shoes.

Try it: Lay out the real gear. Scouts gather and pack all six essentials, then check their clothing and shoes against the forecast and route.

Confirm every Scout has the actual gear and suitable clothes and shoes. Planning does not record completion.
